Walking the city different

Santa Fe is such a car town.  My car has been in the shop for the last three days, so I have had the opportunity to be out walking in the midday sun with the locals and tourists.  I love how the tourists wander, looking at everything, looking a little altitude-challenged as they negotiate the sea of turquoise, rugs and kiva ladders.  It's what Santa Fe is known for, and it's a beautiful tradition.  But then, wow! there is some really questionable art out there that makes you wonder when exactly did the meaning of value get so skewed.   Anyway, there's no use fighting against any of it.  One needs energy to create. The only way though it is to make an authentic offering, and that is what we're aiming to do with Santa Fe Collective.  And now, please enjoy some photos from my walk.
